DENTAL HYGIENE

Dental Hygiene and Preventative Care

Everyone should brush their teeth two to three times a day, preferably after every meal. However, if you can at least do it every morning and night, you are on the right track. In a family home, everyone has their typical morning and bedtime routine. If you can incorporate a healthy routine including teeth brushing, flossing, and an oral rinse in the morning and at night, the kids should get used to it.

TEETH CLEANING

Dr. Wayne Hollar DDS recommends checkups and cleanings for everyone in the family, mom, and dad every six months and an annual exam performed by our dentist. If someone complains of a toothache or notices a dark-colored tooth or swollen gums, it could be signs of a cavity or rotting tooth.
